To prove I created this product from my own ideas and by myself, here is the drawn draft of the front page:
My Urban Beat contents page layout (drawn)
To prove all of my ideas were my own and not completely improvised, below is a scan of my drawn draft I used to plan the layout of my contents page:

I edited and took out some of my original ideas when it came to making the actual contents page electronically for reasons I have expressed in my production of the contents page blog.

Evidence of font selection
Here are the two pages I filled with potential fonts for my magazine and then evaluated by hand. This shows I put thought into the fonts I used.

The programs I used for my Magazine Production
I used a variety of programs to achieve different affects and looks for my magazine and to make the actual magazine on.
- Microsoft Publisher - To make the magazine on; to make the front page, contents and double page spread.
- Microsoft Word - For writing the research, production reviews, editing small pictures and shapes and more.
- Adobe Fireworks -For making my barcode, sticker, masthead etc.
- Microsoft Excel - For editing the shapes for my front page.
- Windows Photo Gallery - For viewing photos I had taken on my camera and uploaded onto the computer.
- Adobe Photoshop - For editing photographs I took.
- Internet Explorer - For browsing the internet for research into other magazines, for accessing and updating my blog and for using the website www.scribd.com.
The main wesbites I used:
- www.scribd.com - For uploading documents so that I could put the links into my blog and then it could be viewed online on the website.
- www.wikipedia.org - For research into institutes mainly
- www.blogger.com - For uploading, updating and accessing my blog
- www.1001fonts.com - For finding and using special and unique fonts for my magazine
- www.google.com - For searching generally for information and research.
I did not use any images I did not originally take or create myself. ALL my material is original and my own design.
