Producing the double page spread

When reading a magazine lately (cosmopolitan), I came across an article which gave me an idea. The picture in it had been recoloured to green. This reminded me of the artist Andy Warhol and how he was famous for creating pictures the same but with different colours (above). I wanted to recreate something similar for my double page spread as it is colourful and would be appreciated by people of all interests. The colouring would not be the same as the picture above featuring Marilyn Monroe. They would be of one colour and there would be six pictures in a grid shape. The pictures would feature me and my friend as this is who the double page spread would be about. I had already decided it could be an interview with 'JJ and DJ Danny' as this would help me create their characters easily and it would seem more personal and real. So, I began creating my idea on paper. I designed the idea and also designed the right hand page. The right hand page would have a big title on the top left and the writing would be in three columns. There would also be a quick subtitle below the big one giving a brief of the interview. The name of the magazine and when the magazine interviewer was talking would be in bold which would seperate their speech from JJ and DJ Danny. There could also be a different coloured background on a slant behind some of the title. I also decided to put the 'Urban' part of my masthead on the top right corner and write 'ARTISTS' next to it in a normal font and in capitals. This would make it look like it is a usual article which is featured in the magazine.
